MSG at House Of Blues, Chicago, USA

26th November 2001.

A couple of quick notes, Michael shredded! Lots of new tunes. MSG played about 5-6 songs then Michael, the drummer, and the other guitarist stayed on as Pete came out. They hung a small "The Plot" sign behind the drummer. Pete was drunk and screaming into the microphone. Kept trying to do the "rockstar" poses with Michael. Kept trying to do the "rockstar" banter into the microphone. Michael just started playing a couple of times just to shut him up. I like Pete in general, but not a good showing on the first night. Pete took off, MSG played on. 1st encore was MSG, 2nd Encore, Pete was back and we're all figuring extended UFO. They played Doctor Doctor and took off. Show total with the Plot in the middle was about 2 hours. Enjoyed myself, but I guess I was thinking there would be a little more UFO.
